Sweetest Sadowsky Ever ?

Here in Detroit we have a "Detroit Bass Players" of Facebook page and one of our 501 members owns this bass.

this is the sweetest Sadowsky I have ever seen.

The neck on that bass is pretty smokin'
as for the pattern of the body, its nice also but
not totally my cup. It is pretty fricken sweet though.

All Sadowsky's are the best bass ever. That one is nice but I would personally prefer a dark fingerboard with that top.

Lots of 24 fretters because I was looking for this bass in particular. For some reason, I think it has the prettiest top:

It's distinctive, that's for sure. I've never been a big fan of that greeny buckeye burl - it makes me think of a sick tree. I can see why some people would love it, though, and that's certainly a fine specimen (nice birdseye board too).

Well, that's what causes it.

I'm generally not a fan of it either. I've seen some nice looking pieces though.

Buckeye IMO is either hit or miss.
