Devon Basses????

I've played most of the models at The LowEnd. I really like his J basses. Devon uses a lot on wenge on the Js, which makes them sound really unique.
Can't say I have ever seen a wenge neck with a maple fb. I'd be interested to hear how it sounds.

I've played an MTD 535 with that combo and it was one of the best sounding basses I've ever played.
i own a devon p/j bass that he built for me. he's an awesome luthier who is very easy to work with and the bass is my 'go to' bass for most everything. high quality stuff that was reasonably priced...

after having played several of the well-known boutique basses, i opted for one of devon's basses. seriously, they should be more widely known. probably just a matter of time. i think he was just a one-man-operation when he built mine and not sure if he has any interest in pumping basses out.
I've played one for a short while. Really cool basses. I A/B'ed one against my Valenti and a Matt Pulcinella 5JJ and found it to be in the same league construction wise, but tone wise the MP5JJ and the Valenti won hands down for my taste.
No, just thought they looked cool and was bumping the thread for any more thoughts from people.
