Tom Bowlus hooking up all his cabs at once is like shutting down half the power plants in North America, leaving half the continent in darkness, while nuking the other half of the continent that's busy enjoying their electricity.

I think we can all figure which half Tom lives in :D

I'd like to enjoy life a bit longer before he brings about the apocalypse with an open "B" note being transmitted to all of his rigs at once :p

1) You'll need to borrow a lot of extension cords, and remember the 15 amp per circuit rule.

2) You'll need to borrow a bunch of amps from TB members, and a lot of speaker cords; watch that impedance!

3) You'll need a mixing board with at least 24 outs; maybe a local music store could help you out, or we'll help you search for some corporate sponsorship.

4) All TB members in the area could come over and help hump the gear; the wealthier ones could fly in for the event. Us bass players always wind up humping the gear at gigs anyway (it's ALWAYS the rhythm section, isn't it?). I would suggest a local school gym or community sports arena. You could do it outside when it warms up. Maybe Hertz or some other rental company could assist with truck rental.

We know this will take some planning, and a lot of logistics; tell me how many cabs, and their impedance, and how many heads/amps/mixers, and I'll draw up the wiring diagram. We'll plan ahead a few months till 'B' day - we'll make it a big, bass-community event. Maybe a local sound company could help out, on an off-day.

You're the gear god around here, Tom, we're counting on you.

Just one low B on your favorite MTD; come on, Tom, that's all we ask!

Cheers,
:D
