Can someone tell me what GB cab(s) will go well with the Neo Pak 3.5? Is the NEOX-212T too much cab? Or do I have to suck it up and wait the 30 day back order for the 112T?

I use to use the NeoX-212T. It was a killer cab and really opened my eyes to neo 12s. I'm sure the the neo-pak 3.5 will sound great through that cab!

It looks like the Neo Pak puts out 225W at 4 ohms while the 212T cab can take 600W at 4 ohms is why I ask. the 112T takes 300W at 8 ohms - and the Neo Pak puts out 350W at 8 ohms...

No, it won't give you any headroom, but it should still sound pretty good. It won't get very loud. Do you plan on giggin with the neo pak 3.5?

Jamming with some friends will probably be as far as it will go. I really like the 112, but they seem in tight supply.

I think you have those power ratings reversed, 225w/8ohms & 350w/4ohms.

It wouldn't surprise me if these guys had it wrong. I was wondering about that (really!)

Yeah, I called them once to and spoke to an associate to ask if the UL212 they had on clearance was 8 or 4 ohms and they told me "both, it has a switch to choose either." !HELLO?!

The manual says 4 ohms is the minimum.

I haven't read all of this but....two things:
1) the 1x12 isn't on backorder......we can deliver them now.
2) if you have a NeoPak3.5 that can't run at 2 ohm's, we will upgrade it free of charge.

Well I've got the GB NeoX 212 and I just pulled the trigger on a 3.5 Neo Pak. The 212 is 4 ohms and the NeoPak puts out 350 watts at 4 ohms. That should be plenty to power that cab. Then if it's sent back to GB for the upgrade it will do 2 ohms (and I believe in another thread it was stated that it will put out 500 watts at 2 ohms).

When it gets here I'll connect it to the 212 and see how it goes.

If there comes a point where I need more power for outdoor gigs or something then I'll look into the 750 or 1200.

Thanks hasbeen. Unfortunately the online merchants that carry the 1x12 show about 30 days shipping. you don't do direct sales, do you?
What say you about powering a 212 with the Neo Pak?
