Reposted - 2003 USA Lakland 55-94 Deluxe - great looking amber quilt top, birdseye maple FB, Nordy pick ups, Bart pre. Very lightweight - between 7-1/2 & 8 lbs. Plays great with no issues. Currently strung with D'addario 1/2 rounds; I will also throw in an extra new set. Comes with Lakland hard case. $1800 shipped to CONUS only. No international sales or shipping. Payment by paypal. Very reasonable price for a premium bass with a ton of mojo. I've had one for years. Someone needs to give this a good home. :D

Bump for a great guy and a great bass. I got a chance to play it on Saturday and it is really light but very big sounding. It is set up real nice, too.

I never got to plug it up at the GTG, but it is light and quite the looker in person. If I had the $1,800, I would have bought it Saturday. This is going to be a great deal for someone!:cool:

Man, I have been obsessing over this bass since it was first posted. Then you put it up on ebay and it didn't sell. :hyper: Yay!

What an emotional roller-coaster I went through to get the scratch. Sold 3 basses then something came up and I couldn't afford it. :bawl:

You know what's crazy? I have never even played a Lakland before. this is the most I have ever spent on a bass as well.

A couple weeks ago I made a road trip to Pittsburgh to the only authorized dealer and they didn't have one in the store! Not even a 55-01. Emailed Lakland and Brian answered within minutes followed by Dan Lakin himself. Needless to say they were not happy and I inadvertantly got the store in trouble. I just emailed them to find out if they knew anyone else near me that would have one.

Oh well. guess I am going to get to try one after all. :D

Yah, I have a 55-02 and it plays amazingly. I wanted to see what the difference was, and with the upgrades and price this had, it was a perfect opportunity, if I only had the money.
