The original 55-94 ,with choice of Rosewood neck or Maple, or Willie Weeks Prototype passive JJ model. I like active basses so I might put some type of pre in WW model, but use original holes, no extra cutting.

that dual j was at the gtg and its a really cool bass, i have a 4 string version. also that bass already has a battery box for some reason, so if you want to add electronics that may come in handy.
doug (basspraiser)will be very sad to see you buy that bass, he really wanted it.
i was going to say the 94 since you wanted to add a pre and it's already got one, but if the WW has a place for a pre, go with it.
Ben Keeney is playing those basses now isn't he?
