So I just got it yesterday and haven't had a whole lot of time to mess around with it. I am very pleased with the job Chris did on the bass. He definitely went above and beyond my expectations. It actually sits very well on a strap and does balance, which I wasn't so much expecting. Because of where the top strap button is I have to shift my playing a little to the left, but it's totally manageable, just something I will have to get used to. I haven't weighed it but it is much lighter that I thought as well. The only real problems is that its really long and you can't play it very well sitting down.. but there wasn't exactly any way around that considering the shape.
I've only had a couple hours to play with it through an amp but it has a great tone. The middle pick up has a huge bass sound and the lower is very trebly. There is some volume issues with changing certain ones to single coil in and out of unison but this was expected and Chris told me it would happen, just have to mess with it for awhile. All in all it sounds killer I have a long jam session tomorrow so I'll have a lot of time to play with it.
