Way Huge introduce the 'Angry Troll'

Hey guys,

Just saw this on one of my RSS feeds.

"I hadn’t heard anything about this pedal release until it was annonuced on the Dunlop Blog today, they haven’t even updated the Way Huge website yet, but with the Way Huge pedals re-introduction being such a success it was only a matter of time until the range expanded form 3 pedals to 4.

The mighty Angry Troll from Way Huge Electronics serves up gorgeous portions of volume and gain to pummel the input of your amp with up to +50dB of gain. It adds bite and punch while transforming your mild mannered tone into a beastly sonic onslaught!

The Angry Troll’s two controls interact like a vintage mic pre amp. The Anger knob—a rotary switch with six Fists of Fury positions—adjusts the amount of gain created by the Troll’s op-amp, while the Volume knob regulates the overall output level. High grade components are used for a precisely tuned circuit that works like an extension of your amp. Another tone monster from the mind of Mr. Huge!

· Delivers up to +50dB of boost
· Precisely tuned to work like an extension of your amp
· Adds a little dirt at higher settings
· Heavy duty foot switch with quiet relay based true bypass
· High grade components for low noise operation

Coming up on Guitar Noize this week a demo of the Way Huge Fat Sandwich.

Also look out for a mega Way Huge competition on Guitar Noize coming up this week!"

Apparently the 50 db boost is in the input stage while there is a 'master' controlled by the volume knob - so I don't think it's a clean 50 db of boost, rather a boost into a new stage which causes it to overdrive. Though, I might be wrong. Very possibly, actually.

Carbon Copy.

I'd like to see the odd-end Way Huge pedals like the purple platypus and rhino pedals.

my dm3 kicks the carbon copy flat
so does my ad9
and my subdecay
and my guyatone tube echo
and my dls echotap
and my memoryman

probably the memory boy would kick it too =) sorry. its a great pedal. i've had four of them. but i want an aqua puss.

if I am not mistaken it was released, right after dunlop dropped the pickle, fat sandwich, and pork loin.

I have no idea what it does, but for some strange reason I need a pedal that has an ANGER knob on it.

:D

ya, I guess I was confused because I couldnt find anything about it on their website and the PGS youtube vid said "pre-order now."

I have yet to see one in a store though, but its WH, how can it be awful? And yes, I want an anger knob too :D
