SOLD

For sale or maybe trade I have my custom Verellen Loucks Smoke. Same exact specs as a regular Meatsmoke but the OD channel is modified slightly to sound more like the Loucks. It sounds killer on bass and is very guitar friendly too. That's why I had the mod done. It comes with a custom Verellen road case stained and branded to match the head. Mint condition and only played out five times. Footswitch included also$[DEL]2200[/DEL] $2100

I'm willing to hear trade offers. Some things I'm interested in:
Vintage Fender basses or guitar amps
Vintage Orange amps or Matamp or Electric amp
Vintage Marshall
Fearless 215
Maybe another less powerful Verellen (for guitar)

I will ship if I have to. The road case is very well made! Local sale within 150 miles of Albany NY would be great though! The Verellen cab is not for sale. But it sure is pretty!

Feel free to ask any questions!

These amps are loud, thick and mean. Beautiful cleans on channel one that can stay clean very loud. Or crank the preamp for classic overdrive. Channel two brings saturated OD that gets into fuzz territory at the top of the dial. The lows are crushing and the eq is very responsive.

For bass I would compare it to an SVT. I think it's just a tiny bit louder at the end of the dial. It stays as clean and loud as an SVT can. But it goes way beyond the OD you can get from the SVT. Having a gain and master is very useful on this amp.

I've never played the stock meatsmoke but watched all the videos and seen a few live. I felt like the OD was just a bit buzzy...more like the sound you get from a pedal rather than a real tube amp. Not sure how to describe it. So I had it modified and I think it sounds way more smooth, warm, and still totally brutal. Great for guitar too. This will eat a 412 alive though if cranked...

Here are some more pictures. Also the head weighs 84lbs and the case 44lbs. Total of 128lbs. There are some scratches from installing the back cover. It's a tight fit.

This is the kind of thing that'll send a guy into spiraling credit card debt and not bat an eyelash.

In lieu of that, GLWS, I've heard nothing but great things about these.

Where was this thing when I was a dedicated svt fan and I had a crew to move stuff around for me? Looks heavy but sooo worth it.
Is shipping included in the price?

Yeah I could include shipping at the asking price. Working on a fairly local sale so hopefully that comes through! If not I guess it has to be shipped. Heavy yes. But worth it's weight in gold
