Description: Mahogany/maple satin-gold 5-string Peavey Cirrus BXP bass
This is a neck-through, 35"-scale Fretless with the active VFL pickups, HipShot knobs, finger bridges and Active 18v 3-band EQ.
It has 5 individual 2-way string bridges, allows for top-loading or thru-body loading of strings.
It has a 5-piece set neck (maple and mahogany) with a rosewood fretboard. I am not sure if this originally was a fretted neck that was defretted or if it came fretless. Either way the fretboard is in very good condition with one dinged spot between the 4th and 5th fret on the bottom edge. The body wings are solid mahogany.
The knobs are HipShot set-screw knobs with three black rubber o-rings. It is very stable with no dead spots that I've been able to find. It seriously plays like a much more expensive bass. I would keep it but 5 stings are just not my thing.
This instrument shows very little use and has only a few small dings and scratches. Some of the gold plating on a couple of the tuners is starting to show some wear. There are no issues of any kind with this bass that I know about.
