Shooting at Dawson College in Montreal

I just got home from there. We heard someone had a gun and slowly began to panic a bit. We were led in various directions trying to find somewhere to go. Some teachers and staff members led us around and brought us to the exit on Sherbrooke street, where I heard several shots go off. We stayed in that area for a bit when police began to tape the area off. More gunshots were fired a bit later. Overall just scariness and a lot of traffic, cop cars, and ambulances downtown. I'm hoping that I don't know any of the victims.

Someone call Michael Moore.

On a more serious note, where did he get those guns from? Don't Canucks have a ban on them or something?

That's really scary. I would have thought colleges would be pretty much immune from those kinds of things, since nobody's forcing you to go or anything and puberty is over.

Getting so tired of all these psychopaths/sociopaths running free in society. If only there were a way to stop this kind of thing from ever happening again.

I don't think it's possible. The larger a society gets, the more alone everybody is. Think about it. In a small town in the South or something, everybody knows eachother. You go to New York, and everybody's a stranger.

That just causes more stress. Too much stress on an unstable mind...

At least those people are always bad shots.

But it's just weird that it happened on a college campus.

It's the 3rd time that there is a shooting in a Montreal's school.

(polytechnique 14 women dead, Concordia 4 dead and Dawson 2 dead, so far)

After Polytechnique they put some very strict laws about fire gun, but since then there was 2 others shooting.

I don't think it could be stopped.
