Thanks to the benevolent Gardfather I finally have some progress pictures of my SKB 3006 on order.

Ziricote top (3 piece w/ flame maple center) and fingerboard
Spanish Cedar body
Bartolini Pre and Pick-ups

I was floored when I saw the woods, the neck is so far beyond what I could have imagined. I can't wait to see the body. Credit to Jay @ Blueberry Hill for the top.


BTW Cliff, GAS knows no bounds and I've been dreaming about a fretless five ball bass.

When the gloss hits the ziracote, that top is gonna' POP like you wouldn't belive. This bass is going to be an excellent example of something that can only truely be appreciated "in person".
