Here you go! The American Jazz bass V. These are very much like the American deluxe, except for the shape of the body, and the abalone neck inlays.
It has the same neck as the deluxe with the graphite rods, and deluxe tuners. When I got this it had the Aguilar OBP-3. preamp, which is even nicer than I expected. This bass has a HUGE sound. I was going to make it my main 5 string. But another deal fell through, which would have helped to pay for this, so I need to sell it quick, real quick..
Serial number is Z1-and 6 digits. making it a 2001.

Neck is straight, and the truss rod is working perfectly.
The frets do show a little wear, but she's still a good player.
Barely a mark on the entire axe. Only a couple little bitty ones.
Only like 9.5 lbs on my scale.
The OBP-3 has the two concentric stacked knobs with the mid EQ selector switch.
The preamp is all setup for 18volts. The 2, 9volt batteries are under the pickguard.
As always, My basses are setup nice and low and the intonation is just right.
I just noticed I forgot to slip the pickguard screws back on when I took the pics. I have them for you. sorry for that.
