Aguilar Tone Hammer sound clips!

Here's my clips for tone hammer,

It was recorded with Audacity with

bass(bb414)-->demeter comp--> db924-->vtbass-->tone hammer-->line-in

Vt was bypassed

Forgive my poor playing and poor recording. :)

Settings(tone hammer):

Treble 11
Bass 1
Mids sweep all down
Mids 1

Tone knob on bass all up

Clean

I noticed that the mids level somehow affects the level of saturation

Gain at 11 with mids max

Gain at 11 with mids cut

Not exactly a comparison but,

VT settings(one of JimmyM's settings he posted):
mids 2.30
bass 10
treble off
character off
gain 9

VTbass (AGS on TH off)

Hope these helps
Cheers :hyper:

um... isn't it the ToneHammer that has the AGS on it????

Those played with pick? If so, would be very helpful to hear fingerstyle as comparison.

At first I was wondering about the settings on the ToneHammer, but then I realized you meant 11:00, 1:00, etc. Initially I thought you had the Treble cranked all the way.

hi, stflbn, I've read your thread as well,

hmm... sorry for the confusion, but I always thought the AGS was the cause for the hype and curousity in tone hammer.. haha.. at least for me. If it was just a aguilar eq in a di box, I would not have gotten it.:)

Hmm, yep, they were played with a pick, haha, didn't remind myself to include a clip played fingerstyle.

And if you are just trying to see how aguilar eq works with VT, the db924 is on for all the clips. If I remember correctly, the tone hammer was engaged for the VT clip, just not AGS.

Hope this clears up.
