Brand new custom jazz for your viewing pleasure :D

Ok here it is, the best looking bass I've got so far

It's a custom built Jean&Jean (jeanandjean.com) Jazz Bass that wasn't even supposed to be built :D
I wanted to mod/do a Frankenstein on my Squier and wound up with a brand new custom baby, and I can't really complain, can I?

Specs:

34'' scale
maple neck
ash body
wenge fingerboard, 22 frets
bone nut
BadAss II bridge
Schaeller tuners
EMG J-set

And here are the pics, in the before/after sequence:

That's grand. I really like the neck and the grain in the body is sweet. Have you played it and does it sound as it should?

Thanks :)

The neck grain is the sweetest part, IMO.
It sounds superb, the EMGs are really doing the trick as well. Superb slap tone along with that old school fingerstyle vibe
The neck is really smooth, like it's not even there :D

I'm yet to play it on a ''serious'' amp, though, and the strings aren't that much to my liking (they're d'addarios, i prefer ernie ball, but those were the only ones I could find at the moment).
