Hello!
I am ready to buy this guitar for 2200 dollars.
Check the xe.com/ucc. 1650 Euro is 2202 USD now.
Thank you! :o)

I should warn you Sean that if you complete a sale and get paid through paypal you aren't going to get anywhere near the exchange rate that you are quoting.

I'm not trying to urinate on your bonfire but it could save you and a potential buyer a lot of heartache if you are aware that for every $1000 (USD) the buyer deposits, you'll actually net £ £650 (or thereabouts). That isn't speculation, I've just completed a USA transaction and that is the actual exchange that you will get as of 2 days ago!

Add your shipping costs and you are going to be nearer $3000 :crying:

Of course I'll add the caveat that if the buyer uses other forms of payment then you'll get a better rate but we looked into that as well and an institution (bank etc) that does the transfer won't give you the XE.com rate either... but it'll be a damn sight better than paypal. :smug:

Have a bump for a smart bass!

Good luck selling this, btw, the serial number suggests its a 1999 bass rather than a 1997 - not that that makes any difference. I have a 97 Flea / Lane Poor and the serial number starts with 97xxxxxx etc. Anyway, I played this bass when it was for sale in Camden and it is a really good player with bucketfulls of great tone. Love the carbon fibre necks on these Flea's - a great size and they just feel so fast to play.

Free bump.

Mak.
