Details

This is an extreme longshot, I know, but I'll give it a try anyway.

I have a Vintage Powerhouse 810 (4 ohms) in excellent condition, that I'm looking to trade for one of the following (nothing else, so please don't bother asking):

1. Mesa Powerhouse 1000 or 1200
2. Mesa Powerhouse 610
3. Mesa Powerhouse 410 (+ a little $$ from you)

The above trades can be either the Vintage, regular, or RoadReady models. Must be 4 ohms and must have the Player Control Network and be in good shape.

Obviously, shipping is out of the question on my end. But, if someone in the ND, SD, MN, WI areas would want to meet somewhere, I'll drive quite a distance to make it happen. Also, I get through Chicago weekly, and usually go out across Indiana and Ohio on I-80 as well, so I could meet someone in those areas too with a little planning, for the right trade.

I'll have pics up later. PM me with any questions/offers.

Here's a picture of it. I can take more upon request.

EDIT: The ONLY reason I'm even considering trading it is to downsize just a little bit.

Bump! This is the best cab out there IMO. It eats SVT fridges for dinner. It has tons of punch, but no lack of bass. It is a very full range cab... The best thing I can say about this cab is that its VERY hard to make it sound bad.

^Thanks!!

And I agree, it is probably THE best sounding cabinet I've ever played through. My ONLY issue with it (which is gonna sound dumb) is that to fit it into the back of my Expedition, I have to fold down the second row seats. With something the size of a 610, I can fit it into the back and still leave the second row seating up. The weight doesn't bother me at all, as it's actually very easy to load by tilting it back and using the (very thoughtfully placed) bottom handles.

That said, it won't hurt my feelings to keep it either. Just figured I'd throw it up here on the (very slim) chance that someone might have a 610 or PH1200 they'd wanna swap for an 810.:)

I wish you were in LA. I'd have my dream cab.

Bottom handles eh? Can you post a pic of that?

Keep in mind the tipping point changes with the 610 since it is a lot shorter and it may actually be a little harder to load.

If I live in your home town so you didnt have to deliver it, would you settle for a 18 pak (minus 3) of "like new" cans of Coors light, and an autographed picture of me and Paris Hilton that I photo shopped?

Damn, that's tempting.

But, I'm thinking this one might end up going to Chance, so I can pick up a PH212 and a PH210.

Would also consider (newer only) Mesa 210's and 212's as partial trades (unless someone would happen to have an 8ohm 210 and an 8 ohm 212---then I'd go even up, but I am just dreaming.........)

Will sell this now as well. I need $800 out of it, though (these cost close to $1600 new, and this one's only a year old and has very little time on it).

Local pickup/delivery only. But, I can meet someone along major routes heading east of here (MN, WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, Upstate NY, IA, etc).

To be honest, I haven't been trying all that hard. I'm having mixed emotions about getting rid of it. Then I had a deal worked out locally, but it didn't go as planned, so I backed out.

So, yeah, she's still up for grabs.
