Watching the Obama Inauguration concert at the Lincoln Monument here in D.C. and loving Adam's new(?) gold sparkle Fender J, complete with tug bar - it's a beauty!

Hopefully we'll (i'll!) get some pictures of it soon!

..now there's a signature model I'd buy!

Tug Bar???

Sorry, I didn't mean to de-rail my own thread! :D

Here's what I'm talking about:

The black rest to the right of the G string.

Any one else catch Mr Clayton's snazzy J this afternoon?

I see the concert is doing a rotation on HBO tonight and it's free for the night from your service provider! U2 were on at the 1hr 30min point (of so) of the concert.

Not in a million years would I buy anything associated with them.

Sig models are a rip off at the best of times (the jaco one being a prime example.)

But there are a few of is out there that would!:D

For me it's the gold flake and not the association with Mr C that get's my attention.

The un-relic'd Jaco isn't a bad deal at all considering you're getting a custom shop bass. How's about the Geddy Lee - I'm sure there are 1000 folk on here that will tell you it's not a rip off!

Weird. I thought that he was a professional Lakland endorser? Their NAMM booth had HUGE pictures of Adam front and center.
