It definately has the "Alleva" mojo. I don't have a scale but it feels about the same as my 55-94. Not to heavy IMO.

Big bump on this one. This price is amazing for this spec. I believe this bass would be over $4K if purchased new.

While I was never a fan of Nitro finishes, my LG has totally flipped me on that. Jimmy's finish guy is the 'best of the best' regarding Nitro spraying, and the Nitro LG's just feel SO old school and vintage. I have the same RW board on my LG, and it's among the best I've ever seen or felt.

Wonderful bass if you are looking for a very mid or late 60's vintage J vibe in a perfect fit and finish 5 string active bass.

If I didn't have my surf green LG, I would be ALL over this.

Yep. By my calculations, somewhere in the vicinity of about $4,400-4500.

you know Alan i think you should stick to your original plan of getting a brand new Alleva. think about it... you could personalize it to your likes and fancy. just imagine what a lovely instrument you could have... you could even put it for a comparisons with Vic's!

yes i wanted this one! good one Alan, great score!! :)

but if you ever feel likes she's not the one just send me a PM.

HAH! That's NOTHING. Thing is, nitro is also probably the most "repairable" finish there is. Lots easier to deal with than poly. Personally, especially noting the location, unless it was down to bare wood, I'm not even sure I'd bother with it. Otherwise, I might touch it up.
