They are very nice pickups. I have I have a set in my MIM Jazz. The green and gray wires are ground wires.

Why are you selling them?

very intersted, can you tell me a bit about the sound? does it have a lot of mids or bass or treble? also, do they work well as passive pickups or they are better of with an onboard preamp?

The sound is very balance. Those are the latest of Sadowsky P/ups. They work very well with the passive system on my Fender jazz bass.
They are not as middy as I would've think but then again they cut through the mix amazingly.
