Pedals?

This should be posted on the fx forum, but anyway...IMO:
For rock you might need a nice OD pedal. I use a Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive that I simply love. Try that one or other TS clones such as the HomeBrew Hematoma.
If you play more hard/industrial/noisy rock you might want to look for a fuzz pedal too. Check the Bass Big Muff from EHX or the Mastotron (I use this one :D) from Zvex. The Masto is more versatile, but each has its own character, so try both if you can and decide by yourself.
BTW fuzz+envelope filter/wah=FUNK xD...thought you should know :P

OK, so I've been playing bass for a few years now and am looking for some new pedals. (I already have a wah and an envelope filter) I play rock and pop and everything else. Does anyone have any suggestion for what pedals I should get?

A multi effect unit should be a good place for you to start experimenting with what like/want/need. I bought a cheap Zoom B1 to start fooling around with effects and it reaaly helped me discover what's out there in terms of sound. Afterwards, you can go pedal-hunting with already a few ideas in mind.

Next step ? a good chorus could be a step forward in effect la-la land...

good luck!
