Part 9. Pretty amazing. I remember when it was only part 4. Seems like just a couple of years ago.
On an actual bass related moment...the Bijou Wet n' Wild nail polish is a pretty good chip filler for the Lake Placid blue, but not exactly a match. Seems to have more green it.
Better than what I had, but not yet perfect.

I just got a new SX (SPJ-Ash) which I really like the look of, but it neck dives quite a lot. Given the ash body should be heavier than the Alder I am a bit surprised. At the moment sitting I balance it on the horn and it's ok, but still needs a fair bit of support on the fretting hand. Anyone else find the same problem?

I apologize if this has been asked before but given 9 threads of SX clubs , I couldn't find the specific question browsing through part 8. I got sort of tired of reading after page 20 or so buuut:
What specific pickguards will fit an SX Ursa P-bass? I was assuming a slightly modified Fender guard?

Yep. Or you can get pickguardian to custom make you one.
Most SX guards don't even fit other SX's , so it takes some filing/sanding/dremeling with almost any new guard.
You may have to drill a hole or 2, but the old holes will be covered by the new pickguard.
They're horrible.... terrible. I had a nightmarish experience.
First mine waited until I was taking a nap, and it stole my credit card, high-tailed it down to the local gentleman's club and ran up a $1500 tab on Jim Beam and the lovelies. When I confronted it, it got all indignant and said "You'd have done the same thing if you had 4 saddles to live with!" I was surprised it didn't make any "g-string" jokes. It begged me to give it a second chance so I reluctantly did. Next thing I know it's criticizing my choice of clothes (plaid really DOES look good on me... its my facial shape), running around with my ex wife, doing burnouts in my driveway - at midnight no less - on my brand new Michelins. It leaves lights on all over the house, flushes too much toilet paper and leaves the clogs, scares my parakeet half to death, chases my 18 year old cat (Pookums) until it collapses from poor lung function, bent my best silverware all up, never tells me when I have to buy more microwave popcorn (it eats it ALL), and farts in church.
I think you've got to agree with me... that $##*&@ bridge is just NO FRICKIN' GOOD.
On the bright side though, it keeps my strings off the face of my bass.
I think that there should be a thread that just has people saying what's a perfect drop in fit for replacing stuff. Kinda like the one for Squier, but for SX
