I just bought this last week, but today I got the chance to pick up a bass I've wanted for years.
Its a 2007 Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones 5 string.
This is a discontinued model.
I believe it has the Lakland pickups.
This bass is very clean. 9 out of 10.
It is Lake Placid Blue with a maple fingerboard and pearl blocks with binding.
I just changed the strings this past weekend. I put on D'Addario Nickels. Today I took it to Lakland and had it set up by Carl Pedigo. He adjusted the bridge and neck. It plays beautifully.
Also included are two Jeannies pickguards. I'm not sure of the colors names. One is a brighter pearl blue. The other is blue/grey.
I paid $900. I got the two pickguards for free. Yup free. From a fellow member of the Lakland Owners Group. Comes with a Road Runner gig bag in not so great shape.
The strings were $25.00, the set up was $25.00 = $950.00.
I will sell it for $875.00 shipped to CONUS( payment arrangements will need to be discussed( I will NOT take the Paypal fees hit).
