Up for trade or sale is my 1990 U.S. made Peavey Foundation with OHSC. According to a posting on the U.S. Peavey thread this color is called Sunfire Metallic Red. It was partly cloudy when I took the photos, so the "metallic" isn't very apparent. I love the weight, balance and neck on this bass, but I can't get my sound!
The bass is all original except for the Badass bridge. With this bridge this bass sustains for days! A cool feature: when both pickups are on "10," they function as a wide field humbucker.

No lowball offers please. Shipping won't be cheap on this one!
Specs:
34" scale
21 fret maple neck - gloss finish
rosewood fretboard
2 Peavey Super Ferrite single coal pickups
Controls: V/V/T
Badass bridge
body wood: poplar??
This Foundation is in good shape for a 20 year old bass that's been gigged. I've posted pictures of the chips and dings that I could get to show up. In addition to what you see below, there is some light buckle rash on and near the neck plate. Also some dimpling on the back lower bout--none of which go though the finish to the wood.

In trade I'm looking for passive basses. My preference is for medium or short scale basses with humbuckers or P-style pickups: MIJ Matsumoku (Aria, Vantage, Univox etc.), Hagstrom, MIM, MIJ Fender, other quality Asian basses. I'm also interested in hollow or semi-hollow bodied basses. Finally (!), I prefer rosewood or ebony fretboards... I'm looking for basses with a good thump and growl!
Added 6/25: Also interested in heads of comparable value. Hartke HA3500, Ashdown, smaller tube heads if there is such a thing.
PM me with question or offers.
Peace,
Mark
