Naw, he's likely just moved on to Fender or something. He's the guy from Megadeath, ain't hurting for money.
They're very solid basses though. I put them between a Mexi-Fender and an American Fender. 299.00. The style is pure rock though. Not for Jazz or Wedding gigs.

awesome deal.. David Ellefson was working for peavey as a designer and tech whilst he was not in Megadeth. He is now back in the band. Pehaps he has moved on to be endorsed by someone else. I know he used to play bc. rich, jackson, fender and probably others before his peavey model.. but the guy knows quality so I'm sure it will be a decent bass
