Will TI short-scale fit 30"?

The 32" scale is made for 32" through body stringing so it's a bit long. I have actually fit a set on a 34" scale bass through the bridge before. It would work on a 30" bass but I would think that the metal would wrap around all of the posts. Although jallenbass says only the E string and he's done it so I would trust that. :)

I have a new set of TI JF324 Flats that I intended to use on my Allen Woody or Italia Torino. They are too long for the Woody and too short for the Italia. I have D'Addario ECB81 S Chromes on my Woody right now. La Bella Deep Talkin' Bass 760FS is also a good fit for the Woody.

I am a big fan of TI Flats but a friend gave me a set of Rotosound RS88S short scale 115-90-75-65 strings (they didnt' fit a Gretsch Electromatic 32 scale bass). These play and sound great. I would never have bought strings this gauge but they are easy to play.
