Yeh, I'm just like you .... lovin' the bass and chasing tone.
I was playing bars and clubs being the singer and guitarist in bands. I have always been a guitarist. I switched to bass a few years ago and it's become my main instrument.
I had 2 obstacles on the bass. I had to learn to NOT sound like a guitar player playing a bass and I had to learn to sing while playing the bass.
Now after years of hard work and hours of daily practice I can say with confidence, " My playing doesn't suck as bad now as it did when I began playing the beast"
