I think they are both probably great units. $225 is def fair... although I can find that unit for $263 w/ all the 20% discounts out there.

I paid 330 for it and put it in the rack right out of the box. The rig was used about six times. I have the VT Deluxe that I use with an Ampeg pf800. More portable for me. Their are lots of videos on all of theses pres on YouTube. Hope this helps. Good luck. John
I have had a few different Sansamps in the last few years. PSA-1,RPM,VT Deluxe, Bass Driver, they all have their own qualitys. You can get so many tones. The possibility are pretty much endless. Dirty fuzz to big fat round notes of joy. The only reason I am selling the RPM is I don't need my rack rig. The Vt deluxe and my PF 800 go well together and fit in a small bag. The RPM I have is basically brand new.
