I just came on here to say I found a Ampeg V4-B locally and just might have to go that direction! Heres a pic of my practice amp I whipped up this past weekend.

Considering the Berg NV115 and Streamliner...

Under $1000 - I was going to pick up a Streamliner 900 second hand but the local guy is unresponsive to his CL ad. I have zero experience with everything I'm looking at online and its near impossible to find the higher end stuff around here (Concord NH area)

I think my chances of trying out the NV115 before I buy are slim. However, its been the one I keep coming back to as I do research for my 1st pro rig. Seeking head recommendations to pair with the NV115, my primary bass being a Precision with Labella Flats.

Thank you. I found a Streamliner locally and curious about the Baers cabs.

I have some experience with a GK 1001RB and a 410 Ampeg Classic. Always sounded boomy. Maybe not the right head/cab match... I did hear a GK MB-212 and a MB head at a show that I thought sounded great.

The Streamliner 900 is catchin praise. I will chase one down to try out and add to the ebay alert. I also read but have not had first hand experience with the Markbass (800?) having some nice tone. I saw AWB in a barn a few years back and his 800RB sounded great. :) Reliability is HUGE and they...

Didn't play through it but it's there to try.
