That's what I'm after. Weighted keys would be nice, but no dealbreaker. But I really, really don't need anything else, 'ceptin maybe a "piano" sound. With apologies to Etienne......I didn't mean to turn this into a "budget keyboard" thread.

I'm in the same boat, Etienne. I just want to sound out changes, don't need nuthin' fancy. So, if anyone has suggestions for us sub-$200.00 bottom feeders, please chime in.

I've seen those comments.....don't know what's up. I don't think my action is especially high.....it's certainly lower than on most acoustic DB's I've played in the sub $5k range, and the bass plays much easier than the POS 3/4 student bass I've been trying to coax sound out of for the last two...

Just took the plunge....I'm lovin' mine. There is some buzz in the E, A and D strings from about the fourth fret and below...I'm hoping to be able to raise the nut a bit...should solve the problem.
