    Bass Flanger Lost In Mix

    Any suggs for good bass flanger that wont get lost in mix? I have a Hartman and it is perfect for studio work, in fact nicest I've ever heard. But is worthless on stage. I was gonna try a boss bf-3 but am leary because other boss pedals I owned were so crappy what about redwitch...

    Do most bassists use a compressor/limiter?

    Relax. I read all the threads. I just want some input because I saw a youtube of a really awesome sounding bass player and in the comments everyone was saying "he must be using a lot of compressor or a noise gate" whats up with that? how does a noise gate help my bass sound? :bassist:
