I like Goodbar better. The Jackpot has gold hardware doesn't it ?

Which MM Stingray, they are all good looking!

You can turn the distortion all the way down on the DarkRay and just blend it in a little bit or you can get an over driven tube amp sound with it pretty easily. There’s two different mid points. Also, you can turn the distortion all the way down and blend all the way up and you get two...

That has a beautiful fret board. Is it Ebony ?

    I ordered the Becos Stella

The Stella has been amazing. I love it. Highly recommend although a little confusing unless you really know your stuff but it still sounds excellent no matter where I set it

Beatbuddy 2 (Is there a better option?)

Garage band on my iPad works good enough for me and it's free

Looking for affordable second Preamp - DI pedal --> board

There are lot of great ones out there. It just depends on what you're looking for. I have the Mesa Subway and it's excellent but I'm interested in checking out the Zio and Scrolls among others

What Was the Best Stingray You've Ever Played?

My Trans Teal is actually ''Swamp Ash" that is what they use to call it back in the 90's

Review: GHS Pressurewounds ~ Tangy Not Twangy

So I didn’t read every post on the 88 pages but do the pressure wound strings get better with age and do you guys keep them on your bass for a long time like you do the flats. I have them on my DarkRay right now and I do like them.

    Cab weight

Yes, I was confused. Sorry about that. I was thinking Lavose speakers that they use in Dark Glass and Trickfish are the ones that are made in China not the Faital brand speakers Mesa uses although like mentioned earlier I guess it doesn’t matter where they are made nowadays and I’m sure they all...

What Was the Best Stingray You've Ever Played?

I’ve had 4 Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray’s. They were all really good. A lot of it will depend on your set up because their built quality is pretty consistent. The favorite one I’ve played is my BFR my in avatar. The translucent colors and a lot of the BFR‘s are ash bodies so a lot of the other...

    Cab weight

I misspoke. It's Eminence and Lavoce, Not Faital that makes some of their speakers in China so does Trickfish, Ampeg Venture, GR bass, Hartke, Darkglass, Phil Jones, Orange, TC Electronic, Fender, Ashdown etc

    Cab weight

Phil McKnight said his Markbass cab is basically made out of a styrofoam beer cooler

    Cab weight

Some of those have drivers made in China and probably use inferior magnets among other things. I know some of the Faital speakers are Chinese

Does any one know the tone difference in how the Genz Benz Neo X212 compared to the new Genzler cabs or even the Subway cabs beside the weight

I have the Neo X I really like it, but I was just wondering if there’s a major tone difference in some of these newer cabs or if I’m better off just sticking with what I have
