You are absolutely correct. I read many of these threads before making my decision to buy the V4B. Lots of experience and knowledge here.

Here's a couple of pics from the day I got it. This has had some work done: grounded cord installed, all new tubes. It looks fantastic but the real story is that it is THE sound I was looking for. Yeah, that is a Leslie cab to the right. My wife is very understanding of my gear sickness.:bassist:

I just got my pre-Magnivox V4B a couple of weeks ago and I could not be happier. At home for practice I'm running it through a single SVT 15" cab. I also have an SVT 8 x 10 but it is in the equipment trailer and I haven't had a chance to play through that yet.
