Sorry to resurrect this thread to ask for simple a clarification related to the V-mods. The pickups have, on the underside, one coil marked with blue marker and one without. Which is the Alnico II and V?

Thank you guys for your responses, it was indeed a grounding issue. The ground connecting the bridge pot to bridge p/u assembly became detached. A quick resolder and back in business. Thanks again for pointing in the right direction

First of all, I think it should be considered a great circumstance that so many have embraced the D-800/+. By folks even well beyond the demographic for those who it was principally designed for. Sometimes one's idea exceeds the initial aim or objective. So there are folks out there, like me...

It looks, fantastic, man, be proud of that case! Ultimately better that the case is not rack-length! I'm hoping someone figures something out with the D-800 for a similar look! cheers,
