    I have a 112 and there is no insulation in it, I was sort of wondering the same thing.

    That little A/C receptacle tester....

    I tried the type with the GFI tester button, but found it real easy to hit the button accidentally so ended up getting one without. I didn't want to risk tripping an outlet and having to search for it.
