    Double Bass Stagg EUB megathread

    I have just gotten a the Stagg edb 3/4 from a friend, and want to change the strings? So my question is, does it have to be flatwound like the factory strings? And do you guys have any recomendations? It will be played mostly by plucking, I hardly ever use a bow.
