I like that edgy sound it adds. Not as overdriven or saturated as with guitar distortion ala tube screamer... I noticed the distorted bass tone on the new Rush material...very cool. Thanks for the replies.

'm looking to set up a rig to play mostly club sized venues and with all the options, I'm wondering if a pedal with xlr outs would work in place of an amp. I'll be running to the PA and would use the amp as a monitor anyway... Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated! Aim9guy
