Previously Owned Gear
I have or have tried everybodies at one time or another. Most were for the pure fact I had to know myself, as a custom builder you are influenced by your mentors mine were Leo, Rickenbacker, MM, & Carvin growing up and then once in the game I had to know them all or at least try. There are so many obscure luthiers who never get the recognition they deserve. Do yourself a favor and check some of their work out next time you need a new axe, you may end up pleasantly rewarded.
G.A.S. List
Oh let me see, that Yamaha would be gracious enough to give me the new Silent Bass on loan for a period not less than 50 years
Influences and Teachers
I have to mention one man Mr. Richard Elgas and for those who had the priviledge of knowing him and being instructed by him we will all agree and praise him as the most influentcial instructor that we have ever known. I credit him for making me a well rounded musician and teaching me the theory behind the composition and structuring of those notes. He was the total package and I miss him.
