I was just having a discussion of headroom in regards to amps wattage vs speaker cabs....Do you want a speaker cab that can take, let's say, 500 watts, even though the amp may be 400? The person i was talking to said it the other way around. That leads to blown speakers in my experience, though

I have a mid 2000's 4003. The neck is thicker than my Spector or Fender jazz, but it's no Pbass neck! I love it. I have seen some "project Ric's" on ebay....parted out, you'll still pay about 1500-2000, but well worth it to me. Sexy bass!
