Thanks a lot everyone for your responses! It turned out: YES, I messed up the MM pickup wiring, and even after, I had a nasty buzz. Turns out the flush trim jack I was using wasn't working properly. After replacing it, no issues whatsoever. I really appreciate all your support! Thanks a lot guys!!
