Everyone I’ve heard, especially the superb bassists who play very simple arrangements which enhance the song (I.E.: Joe B. Mauldin with Buddy Holly & The Crickets). I also enjoy those unknown bass players who play brilliantly behind everyone from George Formby to Fats Waller to Louis Jordan to Gerry & The Pacemakers & beyond.
