Hey there, Just wanted to say that the "ric" in question is mine. (I saw it first in this thread, then tracked it down) It's great. I have owned a real Ric before and can tell you it's comparable. It has a more jazzlike neck. Still a very flat fretboard but a slimmer more rounded neck profile...

These were very well made guitars. I collect Penco Guitars and basses and just picked up one of these not too long ago. My Penco Ripper is all original and the tone is KILLER! The only thing I'm going to change is the bridge to a more adjustable gibson/wilkonson replacement. It's interesting...

Ok. I'm a little late to this conversation but what kind of cabinet is that? Or cabinets? Is the 6" seperate from the 12"s? Is that a stereo cabinet? I'm thinking of building one like it. Fascinating!!
