Yep, though yours has been through more, I think, since mine started as an AMB. The only really non-reversible thing they did to mine was to hack out the pickguard for the Jazz pickup.

Here's my white one. It's an AMB. Already had the refinish and the pickup changed out when I got it. Had also been poorly converted to fretless, which I undid.

Those pots are from the 14th week of 1968. It appears that the bass started out as an AEB-1. The big block of unfinished wood, held in by screws, is where the original "mystery" pickup was located. As Bruce said, the neck is the later AMB style, but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't...

If it was an AMB and the pickguard hasn't been changed there would definitely be gaps around the neck pickup. That's the way my AMB with the DiMarzio Jazz pickup in it is. I can't tell from the photos if this one has gaps or not.

I felt the finish on that one was definitely, at a minimum, oversprayed- and I work in vintage instruments. I'm surprised the guys at Elderly didn't have more to say about it (or maybe the seller downplayed it if they did). If nothing else, an Ampeg with finish that smooth and unchecked is...

All three of my basses came with the gig bag, and I wish I had at least one original HSC. The gig bags, even if the zippers hadn't failed on all of them, are basically useless at protecting the instrument.

I was tempted, just because it is so rare... but more reasonable heads prevailed, considering that I am a righty, and wouldn't have been able to play the thing.

I agree. I was thinking more that someone may have swiped the photos from somewhere else and posted a fraudulent auction. Seen that a lot with high-dollar instruments on eBay.
