    Yes, thanks for that. I am a little wary of the 150 claim though, as they seem to be on offer all over the place. I will be interested to see if they are still in abundance in a couple of months time, as you would have thought that 150 would be snapped up pretty quickly worldwide.

    Well, one of those 150 is currently hanging on a wall in a music shop in Stratford Upon Avon (U.K.). I saw it yesrerday and was intrigued. It does look amazing and I am almost regretting buying an American Deluxe Precision a few months ago, as I am not really making best use of its versatility...

    Thanks, good advice. The temptation is to open the case as soon as it comes off the conveyer to check that all is ok, but I will wait. Gig bags in the cabin are at the airline's discretion, so I would not like to take the risk of having to check it in with no hard case. Still unsure about string...

    About to fly to Finland with my P-bass in it's Fender/SKB hard case in the hold with the checked baggage. Forecast is that it could hit -12 C upon arrival! Should I slacken off the strings half a tone or so during transit? Any other advice? - apart from stay at home!
