i was in the same boat, bought a squier signed by eric clapton, playing it for a day or so i almost rubbed the C off. i had already changed the bridge and tuners before plugging it in. covered the sig in clear tape in case someone is interested in it down the line. the guitar had not been played...

great info and all that but at times the site just does not load, happened for about 6 months. all i would get was the first few lines of a message and nothing else. you just stop coming back after a while, if the site was debugged, ran less adds it might be easier to join in the fun

whitesnake, rainbow and gillan. two great bands came from purple. in rock and machine head. two classic albums, along with sabbath gave birth to metal. zep were more blues based then got a little heavier 4 or so albums in.

i put an EMG P bass pickup in my Sub 4 sterling i bought on a whim, because it sounded so good. try to find the youtube clip of the sub 4, verses the ray 34 verses the USA made verses the 70`s original. the sub4 sounds the closest to the vintage Ray. with a p bass pick up the stingray sounds...
