I have played drums for ages. I began playing guitar in the late 1990's. Bass is a fairly new thing for me but I'm loving it! I think that playing other instruments helps inform one on playing bass and vice versa.
Bass setup? Warwick Rockbass Adam Clayton signature model. It's like a Precision but far cooler. Warwick Star Bass II. Semi-holoow golden God of a bass. Lovely look. Lovely tone. Squeir by Fender Fretless Jazz. Got it for dirt cheap. Plays and sounds like a dream. Squier by Fender 'Classic Vibe' series 1960's reissue Precision bass. While the Warwicks blow this out of the water, that isn't to say that this Squier isn't a great playing/sounding bass.
Occupation
Musician. Songwriter. Accountant. Nice Person.
Favorite Genres
Rock. Blues. Indie. Post-Punk. Punk. Jazz. Fusion. World.... Old School (Real) Country... Lots!
G.A.S. List
Warwick Jack Bruce 'Survivor' bass would be great! Looks like a nifty bass, indeed! And a Geddy Lee Fender Jazz would be a great addition. And with the likes of Chris Squier, Geddy Lee and many others... A Rickenbacker 4001 or 4003 would be grande!
Influences and Teachers
Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, Chris Squire and yes Adam Clayton (some will scoff at that but I like his playing and love U2)
