    Why aren't PJ basses more popular and more available?

    Fender P-bass Lyte ..older MIJ model bass. Light weight and plays great. My go-to 4 string. Love the p/j setup. I just wish there was a 5 string model just like it. And 5 string p/j’s seem harder to come by as opposed to 4 string p/j’s
