Favorite Genres

Well the music I like and the music I play are too personal to connect any "Genre" to. Im a huge Rush fan but after a 40 year career travelling across the musical spectrum, they've dabbled in quite a bit of genres. And I may not be a fan of any of them. I also love Slayer. But Heavy Metal has been contaminated (like all genres) with something that doesn't fit the definition of that genre.
But I like to rock the hell out. And I like to gel. I like live music and the music of the dead. I like textured guitar with a badass bass line, and drummers that make you wanna slap someone with a a sock of quarters.
