    How long will it take for me to learn/play out live?

    Hi, I was just curious how long should it take a beginner with no experience to get out and play live? My goal is by mid next year. I just can see me playing gigs, I know I sound green and I know there's other musicians hungering for those chances. This is something I want to do!
