Natural, fretless, Godin base with acousticore strings. Very good condition, with gig bag. Lightly used, as close to a string bass vibe as I have ever heard on a bass guitar. Yes, I do play upright, so I am sensitive to making sure that my instruments are as true to form as possible...

Admittedly, the photo on the left with my two grandsons is my favorite... although some magazine guy caught me (on the right) playing at a local library. The bass is an Upton "Bohemian" with a carved top (upgrade). f;at back and "aged" tuning pegs. I love this thing !

Complete with a set of "flats" this bass is in almost flawless condition... the exception being the small ding on the back of the headstock. It's complete with the OHSC. I'm "thinning out the herd"... and this is one of a couple that I'll be letting go.. I'm just so involved with upright these...

I have two 5's.... never use them because I'm locked into upright as well so I tend to think in those terms. HOWEVER... when reading charts (where the low "B" string has no practical tonal value)... being able to shift up on the low "B" to achieve a two octave minimal-shifting hand position...
